Our Materials & Care

Our Fabrics

No plastic on your skin. Ethically made. Good for you and the environment.

At Solivina, we are changing the fashion industry from synthetic materials. Your body and the nature we live with deserve better than petroleum-derived fabrics.

That's why we work with natural, low-impact fibers. From our bamboo blend to our linen and organic cotton, every piece is designed to be soft and kind to your skin and the environment that surrounds you.

We use only the best bamboo fibers fabrics with OEKO-TEX® certificate and manufacture our clothing in quality-controlled top standard to ensure 100% free of harmful chemicals and finishes.

Organic cotton is an ecologically responsible and green fiber. Unlike conventional cotton, which uses more chemicals than any other crop, it is never genetically modified and does not use any highly polluting agro-chemicals such as those found in pesticides, herbicides and many fertilizers.

Linen fabrics are made with flax fibers. Our fabrics use from suppliers with the organic flax grown is fully certified. At their factory, they’ve created an artificial dew retting environment to facilitate the degumming process to develop naturally. The whole practice is labor intensive but as a result, no waste water is accumulated or released into nature.

How do I properly care for my Solivina items?

All Garments:
- Cold machine wash on gentle cycle with natural detergent
- Do not wash with towels
- Tumble dry on low setting. Low iron. Do not dry clean
- Avoid wringing or crushing
- Hang in the shade to dry, away from sunlight
- Consider using a washing bag to minimize microfiber pollution

Our Bamboo Process

Our entire fabric production process is a closed loop, and involves no toxic chemicals, safe for the environment and your skin. Our bamboo fiber is from organic bamboo plants and will not cause discomfort or allergic reactions.
